A few color patches like the ones at 1st row 6th
column, yellow patch at 3rd row 4th column, and light green at 2nd row
5th column of the G7100 picture are close to the D580 one. However, some
patches are quite different. For example, the blue patch at 2nd row 2nd column,
light purple patch at 1st row 5th column, and the orange patch at 2nd row 1st
column, are different in color from D580 picture, to name a few. The bottom row
of gray patches also looks bluish compared with the ones in D580 picture.
Comparison with Panasonic
X400 and O2 XDA2s:
- Here are comparisons with other VGA phones like the
Panasonic X400 and the O2 XDA2s.

The X400 colors look washed out compared
with the G7100 colors. Noise is more prominent in the black patch of X400 than
the G7100. The G7100 colors look more fresh and vibrant.

At 11 Lux, the XDA2s Macbeth picture has more
noise compared with the G7100. Both pictures look fresher and more vibrant
compared with the X400 above. The G7100 appears to have more correct color for
the magenta patch at 3rd row 5th column, and the cyan patch at 3rd row 6th
column, compared with the XDA2s one.
