Noise:
The picture looks more noisy at 11 Lux compared with
the Macbeth picture at 132 Lux .
Comparison with Actual Colors:
- Below shows a comparison with a picture at same
luminance taken by Olympus D580 digital camera. The Olympus D580 picture is a
good representation of the actual colors of the Macbeth Chart.
The X400 picture is more noisy compared to the D580 picture. The red
patch (3rd row 3rd column) for X400 looks closer to the actual color of Macbeth
chart than the D580, which looks too dark. However, the patches like the
yellow (3rd row 4th column) and magenta (3rd row 5th column) looks less fresh
and vibrant in X400 picture compared with D580 one.
Comparison with O2 XDA2s:
- Below shows a comparison
with another VGA camera phone O2 XDA2s at same luminance.The X400 was able to
capture the Macbeth color patches better compared to XDA2s, which looks much
darker.
