This picture taken by Canon Powershot A40 digital camera shows a shot of a corridor. The end of the corridor is brightly lit by light streaming through the windows. This makes that region very bright, causing loss of details if the camera cannot handle the dynamic range properly.

My Observations:

-Noise
There are specks of purple dots along the walls and the surface of the door on the left side of the picture, where the lighting is dim. This makes that part looks noisy.

-Wide Dynamic Range Problem
The end of the corridor is brightly lit. But there is loss of details there and its becomes very white. This is due to the camera being unable to accomodate the range of light in that region of picture.
