Here is a picture of a tree with pink flowers taken using the
DigiCam ES3310. A similarly framed picture was also taken using the Olympus
D580 and it can be found here.
Since the tree is actually quite far away, optical zoom was used to take this
picture. When I compared this picture with the one taken by the Olympus D580, I
found that the DigiCam EE3310 introduces blurring of the image. The picture
taken by D580 is sharper and has more contrast. This can be readily seen by
comparing the leaves and pink flowers of the tree in the centre of the picture.
The details of the overlapping leaves and flowers in the picture taken by D580
can be readily seen. However, they are blurred in the picture taken using
ES3310. This can be seen in the two pictures below.

The DigiCam ES3310 also introduces lots of noise in places
where the lighting is dim. This can be seen in region marked by the red
rectangle in the picture above. As shown below, region A is very noisy and this
causes the area in the shadows to look unnatural.
