Topic: Noise

Noise is another good criteria to compare different digital cameras. A picture that is very noisy will look bad and unattractive. The most common form of noise in digital camera images are tiny specks of colored dots usually found on flat surfaces like walls and the hood of cars.

Comments:

The one by DigiCam ES3310 appears to be noisy than the others. The one by Canon A40 does not appear noisy but it seems to be blurrier than the other pictures.

The ones by DigiCam ES3310 and Kyocera SL400R appears to be noisy than the others.

Comments:

All pictures taken by all the digital cameras tested appears to introduce some noise to the floor of this scene of a dim corridor.

The wall in this picture taken by the digital cameras also appears noisy. The picture by the Canon A40 appears blurred.
