This picture taken by Kyocera FineCam SL400R digital camera shows a shot of the Merlion Statue in front of the Fullerton Hotel.

My Observations:

-Red Lines on Building not Distinct
The horizontal red lines below the blue window panes of the building looks discontinuous and not distinct when viewed up close in the picture. This is highlighted in the region marked by the red rectangle in the picture above.

-Blurring and Loss of Details
In the region marked by the blue rectangle above, the red tiles on the roof of Fullerton Hotel becomes blurred and the lines seperating them can not be seen clearly. Also, the vertical and horizontal lines of Fullerton Hotel building are not sharp.

-Blurring of Trees
In the region marked by the green rectangle above, the leaves of the palm trees look blurred becasue the individual leaves cannot be distinguished clearly.

-Sunlight Shining on the Water Spray cause it to become too White
In the region marked by the purple rectangle above, the droplets of water in the water spray coming out of the Merlion's mouth are not distinct. The light reflected from the water spray causes that region to have a wide dynamic range of light, and as a result, the water sprays appear very white in the picture.
