- The camera processing unit is very fast. Just turn it on and its ready to
shoot a picture.
- The menu interface for the camera is easy to understand and intuitive to use.
Commonly used functions like setting the flash or aperture size are easily
accessible within one click of a button.
- The camera lens are designed to swivel. Thus, the camera lens can be turned
180 degress from top to bottom, making it easier to take pictures from awkward
angles.

Dislikes:
- The metallic camera body can get quite warm when
the camera is functioning for a long period of time.
- There is no lens cap provided. The lens is situated on top of the camera,
making it vulnerable to dust and fingerprints when handling the camera.
- During normal usage of the camera when taking pictures, the battery lasts
around 15 mins before going flat.
It uses a 3.7V - 780mAh lithium ion rechargeable battery. This is
equivalent to the capacity of a 1.25V - 2300mAh Nickel Metal
Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable AA battery. Both have the same energy content of
about 3 Ah-V, which is the amount of energy it is able to provide
in one hour.
The Olympus D580 uses 2 AA batteries and therefore, typically last
longer than this camera. Since the Lithium ion batter is quite
thin, maybe an improvement to this camera is to use two Lithium ion batteries.
