The H18 has slightly more details in the bright and dark regions compared with the H10. In the H10, the regions illuminated by bright sunlight are saturated, while the dim regions are too dark.

The camera settings when taking this scene:

H18 Picture: Aperture Size = F/3.5, Shutter Speed = 1/120 sec, ISO =100

H10 Picture: Aperture Size = F/3.5, Shutter Speed = 1/116 sec, ISO = 100

Thus, both pictures by H18 and H10 were taken using quite similar camera settings.

Aperture Size = F / 3.5, Sutter Speed = 1 / 1000 sec, ISO = 400

Current Picture by H10: Shutter Speed = 1 / 1433 sec ISO = 100

Another Picture by H10: Shutter Speed = 1 / 1000 sec ISO = 400

The second picture has more details in the dimly lit regions of the scene. But there is also more noise in the picture.
