The above picture was taken using the Olympus D580 Zoom digital camera and it shows some bushes under a railway track. The camera was able to capture the details of the flowers and the overlapping leaves very well. The colors of the the red flowers in the picture is brilliant and fresh and the whole picture has very good contrast, as can be seen from the details of the grass at the bottom of the picture. However, this picture also contains some minor artifacts that can be seen in regions A and B in the picture above.

If you look closely at region A, you will find that there is a light blue fringe along the top railing of the railway track. The bottom of the railway track also looks unnaturally dirty and noisy. The blue fringe and noise are probably introduced during the processing of the picture by the digital camera.

In picture B, the camera is not able to capture the contrast of the blue plastic bag well and this results in an unidentifiable blue flat-looking object. Also, if you look closely at the horizontal metal stripes of the fence near the bushes, you will find that it is unnaturally noisy there too.
