This picture shows a MacBeth color chart taken using the Olympus D580 camera at 11.7 Lux of light. The Macbeth color chart is often used by camera manufacturers to gauge the performance of digital cameras. The device besides the chart is a lightmeter. From its reading, we know that the amount of light present when the picture was taken is 11.7 Lux. No flash was used when taking this picture and surprisingly, the colors of the MacBeth chart turns out to be great. The details of the objects in the picture can also be seen very clearly. This shows that the Olympus D580 camera is able to deliver good pictures in places where the light is dim. In contrast, the same picture taken using the DigiCam ES3310 is very poor. The amount of light in the room is also 11.7 Lux and no flash is used. The picture taken using ES3310 appears all black, and you can see it below. If you use a photo editor to brighten up the image, then you will be able to see some details of the MacBeth chart and the lightmeter.
