My Observations:
-Noise:
This picture is noiser compared with
pictures of Macbeth chart at higher luminance. For example, the white color
patch on the left bottom of the macbeth chart has specks of magenta and green
colored noise. This noise is also present in the white wall in the background
of the picture.
- Color Fidelity:
Luminance of 0.6 Lux is very dark. It is
approximately the amount of light present in a room with all the lights
off at night. The Olympus D580 was still able to pick out some of the colors of
the Macbeth Chart like the yellow patch (3rd row 4th column) and the light
green patch (2nd row 5th column). Some of the darker color patches, like the
blue patch (3rd row 1st column), red patch (3rd row 3rd column) , and the
purple patch (2nd row 4th column) looks undistinguishable from black.
