Noise:
- The color patches of GD88 picture at 11 lux has
more noise compared to the picture taken at room lighting.
Comparison with Actual Colors of Macbeth
Chart:
- Here is a comparison with a picture of Macbeth
Chart taken at same luminance by Olympus D580 digital camera. The Olympus D580
picture is a good representation of the actual colors of the Macbeth Chart. The
GD88 picture looks noisy. The colors also do not look as fresh as the D580
picture. The magenta (3rd row 5th col) and pink patch (3rd row 2nd
column) looks similar in GD88 picture while in D580 picutre, they are quite
different. This is also the same case for the light blue (1st row 3rd column)
and light purple (1st row 5th column) patch.
Comparison with Nokia 7250i:
- Below is a comparison with Nokia 7250i at same
luminance which can take pictures at CIF resolution. The 7250i picture looks
less noisy. However, the colors of Macbeth chart by both cameras look dull
compared with the D580 picture above.
